We had a very busy weekend filled with lots of family time. As you know, we went to the Aquarium and had hibachi (maybe you didn't know that part) on Friday. Saturday morning, Daddy worked and I over did it with cleaning my house - I still forget I am pregnant at times but then
I look down and see my almost 3 month pregnant belly that appears to be 6 months the morning sickness kicks right back in. (Side note: the morning sickness is R.O.U.G.H. this time. I had some nausea with B's pregnancy but I think it was due to the progesterone I was taking because when I stopped taking it at 11 weeks, I felt better. This time I am not on progesterone and I spend 2/3 - 3/4 of my day feeling like I am on a never ending carnival ride.)
Saturday afternoon, B's Mimi and Paw-Paw stopped by to visit (Daddy’s mom and step-dad). It was nice visiting with them. Nana (my mom), M and cousin A stopped by so that A could see our home. They told me all about their visit to the Louisiana Castle and how M picked out her cake, tasted various foods, etc... all the fun things that go along with wedding planning! Saturday evening, we went to
(take your pick: the compound, the country club, old stomping grounds...) my aunt and uncle's house to eat dinner. My mom made two roasts and turned those into some delicious roast beef po-boys. I haven't had beef or pork in 3.5 years and I have been craving beef like a mad woman with this pregnancy. I couldn't fight the urge any longer. I could have cared less during that moment if I would have been sick later... I indulged and it was SO worth the yucky feeling I woke up to at 1am. But I think my beef craving has been satisfied.
Sunday afternoon, we went back to my aunt and uncle's for more
eating family time. My uncle made his famous chicken fajitas (my fav). It was a nice, relaxing Sunday afternoon. We were going to go swimming but I wasn't really in the mood. We put B in a swim diaper and handed him off to Uncle A, his girlfriend H and cousin A. While he floated around in the pool, I sat poolside and colored my sister's hair. Everyone had a nice time... everyone includes 21 adults and 5 little ones (ranging in age from 9 weeks to 30 months)!!! And that my friends is a
small get together!
That's your weekend wrap-up for The Bugs!Tomorrow, I go for my 12 week prenatal visit. So stay tuned...
